New Apple AirPods Max Releasing Soon – Features | Specs

Apple is releasing its new headphones, the Apple AirPods Max 2 soon. A recent report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that Apple plans to completely redesign its AirPods series next year. The AirPods and AirPods Max will receive updates, while the AirPods Pro will receive an upgrade in 2025. 

It is not clear what changes Apple will make in AirPods Max, but here are some improvements which should be made:

• A new design with a lighter and more comfortable fit
• Improved audio quality, including support for lossless audio
• Longer battery life
• A new USB-C charging port
• New colours

The AirPods Max 2 may be released in the second half of 2024, possibly in October or November.

New design with a lighter and more comfortable fit

These AirPods Max may have a new design which will be lighter and more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. This could include changes to the headband, ear cushions, and overall weight of the headphones.

Improved audio quality, including support for lossless audio

They will have better audio quality as well as support for lossless audio. So, this means that users can listen to music in its original, uncompressed form.

Longer battery life

Rumours say that this device will have a longer battery life than the current model. Users will be able to listen to music or watch videos for longer periods of time without having to recharge the headphones.

New USB-C charging port

The AirPods Max are rumoured to switch from a Lightning charging port to a USB-C charging port. This would make the headphones more compatible with other devices.

New colours

The AirPods Max 2 are rumoured to be available in new colours. This could include new pastel colours, as well as more traditional colours like black and white.

Price of Apple AirPods Max 2

The price of the AirPods Max 2 is not yet known. Based on the price of the current AirPods Max, which starts at $549, it is likely that the AirPods Max 2 will be priced similarly. However, some analysts are speculating that to increase the competitiveness of the device, Apple may drop the price.

Note that these are just rumours and the actual features and specs might be different. 

Overall, I’m excited to see what Apple does with the AirPods Max 2. The current AirPods Max are great headphones, but there’s always room for improvement.
